What is reverse osmosis?
This is a water purification process in which water is forced under pressure through a semi-permeable membrane that retains dissolved substances. It is mainly used in areas with hard, brackish water or with elevated nitrates and other contaminants that conventional filters do not completely remove.
When do I need reverse osmosis instead of a regular filter?
If your area has very hard or brackish water, if elevated nitrates are detected, or if you want the highest level of purification. For most domestic needs in areas with normal water quality, an Olympus above or under counter filter is sufficient. Contact us for guidance based on your area.
Is a technician needed for installation?
