Olympus Countertop Water Filters
Olympus countertop filters connect directly to the kitchen faucet, without requiring tools or a technician. They are the most popular choice for home use, as they combine easy installation, antimicrobial protection and Greek manufacturing by Center Plus SA with a 2-year warranty.
They are available in two series. The series Olympus (regular 77 euros, double 134 euros, triple 184 euros) covers families of up to 5 people with 8,000 liters per cartridge. The series GIGA (single 99 euros, double 179 euros, triple 259 euros) was designed for larger households of 6 people and above, or for businesses and places with higher consumption, with 14,000 liters per cartridge.
Double and triple models add additional cartridges for salts or nitrates, suitable for areas with specific water quality requirements.
What is the difference between Olympus and GIGA?;
The difference is in the capacity of the cartridge. The regular Olympus model filters up to 8,000 liters of water and covers consumption for up to 5 people. The GIGA model filters up to 14,000 liters and is recommended for 6 people and above, as well as for businesses, schools, shops.
Do you need a technician for a countertop filter?;
No. The connection is made directly by you on the tap, with the adapter included in the package. The installation is simple and no special installation is required.
What does it remove from the water?;
The Olympus filter removes chlorine, pesticides, heavy metals, asbestos fibers, hexavalent chromium, arsenic, lead, cadmium and toxic substances, while allowing beneficial elements such as mineral salts and trace elements to pass through. The antimicrobial technology neutralizes up to 95% of microbes inside the device in 2 hours, while the internal chamber of the device is permanently self-disinfecting.
When do I need a double or triple filter?;
The standard model covers the majority of drinking water needs. If your area has hard water with excessive salts, choose a dual model that adds a special salt cartridge. If elevated nitrates are also detected, the triple model adds a third nitrate cartridge.
How often do I change the cartridge?;
The cartridge is changed every 12 months or 8,000 liters of water (14,000 liters if you have the GIGA), whichever comes first. In the meantime, it can be cleaned. Olympus replacement cartridges from 45 euros, GIGA from 60 euros.
