What does a central water supply filter do?
It traps sediment and large particles from the water before it reaches the taps and appliances in the home. It acts as the first level of protection for the entire plumbing installation.
Do I also need a drinking water filter?
Yes. The central water filter filters out large particles but does not remove chlorine, heavy metals or microbes. For clean drinking water, combine it with an Olympus above or below the sink filter.
